Right. Sorry. We both were inside the city recently and saw the whole thing and how they were starting to power them up with the shards. Definitely not a pretty thing to watch.

We're shardbearers, we're destroying their world, we're fighting a war they didn't ask to be a part of...stuff like that. [He waves a hand as if it isn't a big deal.] The dwarves have always been of the opinion that the shards aren't really useful and have been known to offer to remove them for shardbearers. Prior to this though we thought they stayed out of shardbearer business...kinda seems like they're taking a whole new approach to ignoring our problems by removing us entirely.
