[It had been since the return of the Monarchs since any had seen the face of the one on the lockets, heard the voice of the General, but here she was in full armor, silver crown upon her head, and a regal blue and white cloak upon her shoulders. The backdrop of one of her banners - blue with a white dragon upon it - would be seen behind her. For those more familiar with her, there was a bit more color in her hair than before she had fallen asleep, but it was still too pale to those that knew Saber before the corruption had seeped into her. And for those that knew Saber well, they may notice that she actually looked rested for once.]

Allow me to offer my apologies to you all for my absence. I see that it has come at great cost to the Unseelie. I will not dwell upon what may have been had I not fallen to the unnatural slumber I had been in, but shall look to the future. Much has changed since May, and though it gladdens my heart that our great Monarchs stand tall and that our Seelie enemies have lost one of their pillars, there is much that must still be done. The Void grows ever closer, our enemies bolder, and the gods stir.

I will be visiting all Spires and major settlements over the next week. There is much that I need to see and many to speak with. Captains, Lieutenants, I expect status reports immediately. Barons, I will be seeing you all soon. Anyone else that wishes to speak with me will find that I will make time for them.

For those of you recently arrived, welcome to Allaidh Darach. I am Saber - the General of the Unseelie forces. If you need purpose, you need a place in this war you have been unfairly brought into, I will find you one. Time is no longer a luxury we can afford.

[OOC EDIT: ICly on 6/25, a messenger finally catches up to Saber to inform her that Balor(NPC) was appointed general while Saber was asleep and she now reports to him. [There's a small sigh of relief. That's one less thing to worry about with all of the other craziness that the Drabwurld's flung at them. However, the tone doesn't escape him either and his curiosity gets the better of him.]

Gonna guess that usually doesn't happen? [Rhetorical questions at their finest.] What kind of dreams? [Stop. Think about that.] I mean if it's okay to talk about. Some people don't like sharing.

I do not require sleep, so dreams are not something I ever recall having experienced before this slumber. And my dreams were vast and varied. Not all made sense, most I no longer can remember in detail. Some were terrible and cruel... [They're called nightmares, Saber.]

But one I do recall is flying through the air upon wings that were my own, not that of another. Scaled and crimson in color.

[There's a short laugh.] Kinda sounds like you were dreaming about being a dragon or something. Those dreams are pretty cool. [A pause.] I dream about flying sometimes still, too. Tons better than nightmares.

[Okay, focus, Hamada. He seems to pull himself back together shortly after that.] But you probably want a status report on stuff instead, huh? I mean I'm not a Captain of anything but I can sorta give you a play-by-play.

Your assessment of my one dream sounds correct. It was quite an enjoyable one.

I would appreciate an update, but as I will be visiting the Tenth Tooth, perhaps we can speak there?

Maybe you can ask the monarchs to let you dream again sometime...you know, without passing out for two whole months. And only the good ones.

[Ah. Right. About that...] I'm...kinda tied up in some stuff right now. But I should be back in the area in a couple of days? I haven't really been at Ten for a while though.

[How do you tell your superior that your not-dad grounded you, everybody's been scattered, and you're regrouping to relocate everything, not to mention you're off on a quest? Oh man...and here he thought vocal reports would fly. He should have known better.]

I will not arrive until the end of the week. That should give you plenty of time, yes?

The end of the week...[He appears to be counting this out.] I can be out there for a few hours. That should be okay. I'll meet you there, then.

You are rather busy these days. [Saber gave a bit of a chuckle.] I will not keep you long.

I mean a couple of hours shouldn't be a big deal. I'm just glad to see you're back. [A beat.] Pretty sure a lot of us are...I'll see you at the end of the week.
