My understanding... and I could well be wrong... is this fight is in part to reform the great gem, the Uaine Cridhe from which our shards were a part. From which our worlds were made. Its power can either be used to allow an ending and rebirth, or... to simply stall the void for as long as possible. If it is allowed to be used by the Unseelie, nothing new will ever be born. It will be a selfish act, and this world will be the last. We will save those left alive a little while, nothing else. It is a simple choice, but a difficult one. To allow hope for something better, or to cling to what we have.
