[Jeeze, how do you even explain this.] Okay so it's like this. Imagine you scraped your elbow on something. You leave behind skin cells and from that small amount of skin cells somebody could take a somatic cell and use it to generate a whole other version of you. Almost like creating a twin but it's still a little different.
Maybe they really wouldn't even notice, no matter how hard you are to miss. See?
