Well, I mean, you ask her and she'll say "the late Middle Ages," but it's still the Middle Ages. She said England, so it was definitely Earth. And I'm pretty sure she's not the only one.

[ Oh man, someone to talk to about the sphere. This is awesome! ] I call it the Archimedes sphere, since, you know, it was made by the man himself. I still hadn't figured out everything it can do when they pulled me here, and now... [ His voice trails off because you can probably guess how well that's going. ] So far, I've managed to get it to control other spheres like it, integrate it into my ship's control system, and sort of control automatons with it. It's pretty sweet, and Archimedes didn't even have all the stuff we've got. I dunno how he did it.
