It is much the same in my world, at least in regards to prejudice. Mages are feared far too often because of their power, regardless of their training. Some see non-human races, such as elves as second-class citizens.

Not quite. [ Though he supposes he could see how some might confuse it for such. ] Magic is an innate power. My abilities, they're fueled by an external source. I wasn't born with them.
