[Roa could be seen in a fairly bright and well-lit kitchen, somewhere in his freshly carved mountain fortress. Outside, one could see sunlight and a bit of La Llorona's trees over in the background. He was busily mixing ingredients for baking, all while his locket was on. His then blond hair was tied back in a bun, glasses tipped a little bit on his nose. Occasionally, a hand would come up to adjust them.

There was a certain someone he wanted to annoy and that someone would get their cue soon enough. The video went on for a bit, showcasing Roa as he went through the preparation process to make croissants, loading them into a brick and mortar oven attached to the outside wall. He took the time to feed wood into the fire, saying nothing at all to anyone watching until the very end. He picked up his locket and held it up, stretching himself out just a little.

The moment his locket panned over, one could see something on the nearby dinner table that hadn't been visible at all until then. It was a severed arm, once belonging to one particular Seelie knight. Despite the fact that it was severed, it was in absolutely pristine condition, as it were stuck in time and perfectly preserved.]

There are some things you never forget. I haven't baked in ages.

[ On some level, she knows she should be a little concerned about a severed arm there and there's more to this than just baking. It's obvious that he's a dangerous individual and yet- ]

Were you planning to include that arm in your baking or use it to help you cook?

[ She's just a little curious. This is strange, this is really weird. Disturbing, too, and there's a vague sense of familiarity here that she can't put her finger on. ]

I don't know. It seems like I always get to a time-intensive step when I notice it again.

I've always preferred clean counter tops when I cook; it's pretty well intact, but it's a little hard to not notice, at least for me.

I find myself somewhat concerned over your ingredients.

I wasn't aware anyone needed an extra hand in baking. [ She should be loading boxes and everything since today is the big move, yet she's drawn to that sight.

Lancer might not be from her war, but he was one of her own from Fuyuki City.

Suddenly that Baron she met last month wasn't of little interest to her. To have acquired something like that placed him at a level beyond an ordinary Heroic Spirit and to have it preserved at the same time? He's a high interest target now. ]

Really? Then where are you going to put all of those pastries after you're finished? You're going to need that space eventually.

[Roa found himself suddenly stopping in the middle of cutting a heart out of dough with a knife to make a cookie. He had been planning to hand some out to throw some curve balls to the soldiers.

Really confuse the shit out of them.]

Oh, please. [Roa lifted his locket to show off a rather large kitchen space. It looked more appropriately sized for a cafeteria.

Lord knows why Roa needed so much kitchen space. Corpses.]

Not immediately. Actually, I should be thinking of hiring cooks.

[Nearly three hundred soldiers? Yeah, he was going to need to bring someone in so they wouldn't have to cook their supplies for themselves.]

[He breathed a sigh out of his nostrils. So, he got a bunch of psychopaths and no one he actually wanted to taunt.

I'm feeling foolish that I didn't even expect mention of that. Don't tell me you're fraternizing with this thing's owner--or, was there some sort of grudge?

With a member of the Seelie court? It'd be damaging to my blossoming reputation. [ Meaning no, she's not currently hitting that. ]

... but I should tell you that I do feel a bit responsible for this. He is, after all, from my world.

[ If she's not a Heroic Spirit (which she's not, he should have guessed that much from their short interaction), then she's clearly the other half. ]
