Maybe? I mean, I could totally see him putting a ton of effort into something that'll let him be lazy, backwards as that sounds. But I feel like half the things he makes are just to see if he can do it or because he's bored. I've seen him making wind-up toys without paying attention just so he'd have something to do with his hands.
