[ Not that Kaldur hasn't come across those types of magic before, but its certainly somewhat surprising. Still he mulls over the procedure with some thought. ]

Is the boundary set as some part of invocation? The use of... a sacrifice [ That word settles uncomfortably in his mouth, and it shows ] and the ritualistic nature seems almost more along the lines of attempting to summon someone or something to place the barrier, than erect the barrier, itself.

[ On the other hand, this is only conjecture, and he shrugs. He honestly couldn't say, those types of magics are not the sort he knows the practicals of, since it is not a sort he has ever had any intention of using. ]

But a clearly defined boundary point, anchored along the way... I will have to look into alternatives to sacrifice, but the idea, at least, is a starting point.
