Well... I was raised by an Etherian, but whether or not she followed any sort of tradition native to us, I don't know.
...a few years ago, before I knew who my real family was, there was a girl who was brought to the castle by the goons. Her name is Rosella. And, the moment I saw her, I knew she was special. Lolotte--my... foster mother, I suppose you'd call her--wanted her imprisoned, probably until she died. I convinced her otherwise, and to prove that she wasn't a spy, Rosella brought back three things for Lolotte, having been promised a reward if she succeeded. I was surprised as she was when the reward turned out to be me. We were supposed to be married the very next morning, but after I gave Rosella the key to get out of the west tower, she killed Lolotte and we were both freed. I... looked a lot different, then, and... I didn't want to force her, so I didn't push it.
But then... Genesta, the good fairy Rosella was helping, decided that I should be rewarded for what I did. She... gave me this form, and she was there and Rosella was there, dressed in white... What was I supposed to think? I thought it was love at first sight, and hoped with the new form, she felt the same way. I thought... maybe she wanted it. So I proposed, then and there. But... I was wrong. She left Tamir, and went back to Daventry. I didn't see her again until I lured her to Eldritch.
In my defense, I wasn't in my right mind at the time. I was under enchantment. Several, really. But she was the only thing I could remember. So, I asked her to be my bride again. She... wasn't very happy about it. I didn't mean to turn her into a troll! But things got put right again, and I was finally back in my right mind. Anyway. She's agreed to let me court her. We... haven't discussed marriage since.
