They are good enough for that much reassurance. [ The lockets are really only useful for long-distance chats, magical or not. Whatever other mysticism once existed for him has long since rubbed off. ] Jon Snow is a capable commander of Cothromach, he held the gates against its latest assault from Unseelie forces. His word will surely sway a great deal of the cave-city's inhabitants to trust you, but I would not recommend any detours through Caer Glaem to shorten the distance between you and your kin.

While not all the Seelie are fanatical in their subservience to Ridire and Solais, some are.

[ More than good, he is no certain what he would do with himself if they had been in this place without someone to keep them safe. ] I will keep to the mountains, as far from Caer Glaem as is possible, until I find the road.

My father? [ The face of a lord, of a king, all but vanishes. Emotion and disbelief welling up inside his eyes and chest. ] My father is dead, Your Grace, are you certain the man you knew was him?

His father was here? A question, he thinks, to confirm with Jon or Sansa when he reaches them. ]

I... that is difficult to believe.

Kinslayers of my people walk freely here, their mother is present to mourn their actions and pardon such crimes as best she can. That is difficult to believe. Robb Stark, you will find many things in the Drabwurld both curious and painful.

It is reprehensible that kinslayers walk freely, cursed as they are. Indeed that is harder to believe than my father's temporary presence in this world.

I will not be lost without purpose, I will protect my family from whatever dangers threaten them.
