[ The feed opens with a view of Kougyoku in Caer Glaem's courtyard, sitting on a carpet. It is not her who is holding her locket, but a servant. Although she distrusts the Unseelie, they can see this post, too. If some of her family ended up on the other side, this is her way of letting them know she is well. ]

Greetings. I am Ren Kougyoku, Eighth Imperial Princess of the Kou Empire. You may call me Kougyoku.

[ She is sitting still, but she seems to rise and float slowly as she speaks. ]

As you may know, the Drabwurld is rather vast and travelling between states takes days, or even weeks. [ Or so she hears. She has never been outside the castle. ] Horses and the like are all well, but like humans, other creatures need to rest, too. So I asked for a faster means of transportation—something more convenient—and they gave me something from my world! It's very nice; there's no need to feed it or take it to a doctor. If we use it, we can definitely cut our travel time and—

[ It's now apparent that it isn't Kougyoku who is floating, but the oriental carpet under her. With the help of some mischievous fairies, it tilts forward, causing her to yelp, stumble off and land clumsily on the pavement. Kougyoku holds her forehead and she is furious. ]

Who—! Who did that!? [ The fairies are falling and rolling on the ground as their peals of laughter fill the air. Kougyoku points a finger at one of them. ] It was you, wasn't it? And you! All of you!

[ Kougyoku is too easy. The feed cuts, and after a couple of seconds, she can be seen sitting properly on the carpet once more, but her face is a little red and turned slightly away from the audience. There are no fairies in sight. She'll get to the point. ]

I have a magic carpet. I plan to search for a bladesmith who can forge a sword suited to my style, but... my carpet is too big for one person alone. It can carry half a dozen passengers, so i-if anyone has anywhere to go or would like to accompany me, I would appreciate it.

[ Maybe if she actually went to the royal smithy, she wouldn't think of the need to travel. Maybe she's just looking for excuses to travel. But anyway! She just doesn't want to travel by herself. Life without any of her attendants incessantly hovering over her is weird. ]

[ This is also open to action tags for Seelie characters in case anyone hanging in the bailey wants to bother her. Her carpet will be floating as she makes crowns with the pile of flowers she picked. ]

Why bother some bladesmith when you can us the armory?

[All this stuff about magic carpets, well... he doesn't know what to make of it. But as a smith, he feels a kind of tension like he ought to be expected to oblige her request. But he's not about to go making a sword for some girl.]

I expect that if you check your court's library, specifically the geography section, you can find a town you can travel to and fill your weaponry needs as well.

[ His golden-haired face swims into view, pendulumning a little as he holds the locket away from himself. His beam is utterly radiant, his white teeth flashing as he laughs. ]

Sweet summer child, you are already near in the company of one of the best smiths to have ever walked this world, or any other!

But, I wonder! Do you even have the means to employ such a smith?

[Luckily for her she managed to get all her laughing out before she turned on the voice.]

That's like something out of a fairytale. I think the fairies want a ride, though.

It's harder to fall off a horse, though.

[ yeah that's really the firs thing that comes to mind. ]

Shut up! [ shaking her fist! ] The fairies do nothing but tease me...!

[ Thanks for not laughing in her face, Kido... She still has her head turned away from the locket when she replies. ]

They can get their own carpet.

[ Kougyoku dips her head in embarrassment, her skin flushed all the way to her ears. She keeps her eyes on the man, but she is clearly reluctant to do so. ]

I do. The worms provided me with more than enough. [ She slew dozens. ]

[ He nods, trusting her earnesty, and leans forward, voice lowering to a whisper. ]

The smith I speak of is named Celebrimbor. The blood of kings courses through his veins; and that of the best smiths who ever bent metal by a fire. His grandsire was taught his art by the Powers which Wrought the World; and he has no living equal.

He is at your court now, though he hides his power, and his skill. But many others would vouch for him as I do.

Kou! [ RED KOUMATO!!! ] You still getting harassed by those little guys?

You could try to make them ask nicely. [She really doubts that would work.] But ahhh how fast does that thing go? Supposedly, it takes a long time to travel around here... But I haven't gone anywhere yet.

Don't tell me what to do! I was just saying-- what if you're in the air and something like that happens? That's a long fall.
