[ As Jojen knows that his sister and charge are both here, but not where, or exactly how this odd locket might function... well. He's managed to figure out how to keep it to the court he's found it in, and so the Seelie court will get a look at a sickly young boy, who regards the trinket with a quiet sort of interest. It seems to be working, which means that he can speak with an entire world in an instant. ]

Curious place, this Drabwurld. A place of magic and strangeness that would be best suited to the old songs, yet it's very much alive here. I would ask for what sort of people have been brought here, and what tales they bring with them, but another time perhaps. There's to be a hunt, for many, and I would wait for it to end before I sought out such things.

[ A faint twitch of a smile, there and gone. ]

Though I don't suppose you'll be joining the hunt, will you, Meera? I would very much like to see you, and dear Bran, as soon as possible. There is someone here who would be kind enough to take me to you, but there lies a small problem in this.

[ Enigmatic as always, he's sure that his sister will know what said problem is, or at least be able to figure it out. ]

Jojen... [Just hearing his voice alerts her immediately, and she's fumbling on her locket. Of course he knows she's here, probably Bran as well. It is a relief to see him, alive and as well as she expects him to look.]

Jojen, I'm here. I'm not far from the castle. I'm with Bran and Lady Sansa. She is the Keeper of the city. I can come to you and take you back here. I know Lady Sansa would not object, and Bran would be pleased to see you as well. We are all safe. [Now that the battle is over, and the Seelie have won.]

[ Though he's offered a few faint smiles to the people that have helped him thus far, it's Meera who gets a true one. Even if Jojen knew she was here, there's still a pleasant sort of relief at seeing her face. ]

I'm glad, I am. Though I knew you were here, I wasn't... [ It's so strange, to not know a place in his sight, and he doesn't like to admit to it. ] I didn't know where. But Bran has been reunited with his family, then?

He is. Jon Snow and Arya are here as well-- Lord Eddard was for a time, but I'm afraid you both have missed him. [It is a loss she feels for, though she often tells Bran about his father now that she's come to know him.]

I can come to you. There is magic that can take me there and back. Are you well though?

[Yes, she's bringing this up. She has worried over him for months now.]

[ The disappointment is obviously there, for a second. This place could bring to life Eddard Stark, and he missed such a thing? Jojen is at least happy that Bran has some members of his family again, though. ]

I would have liked to meet him. [ It's an almost childish sulk, but he has other things to attend to, and Meera brings his attention back to that. Reluctant as he is to admit to this, too. ]

Better than when we were still beyond the Wall, though still weak. I met - [ He pauses, not sure what Zhaneel calls her kind, but he thinks of House Connington. ] I met a griffin, when I arrived. She said that she would be happy to help me, so if you come for me, she can bring me to meet you.

[ this one speaks names familiar to her. and her wit can wend its way around an assumption or two -- but sansa doesn't speak those assumptions aloud. she doesn't dare it. ]

You know of Lord Bran? Of Lady Meera? [ confirm yourself, she thinks. tell me. ]

Jojen. [ bran does look relieved when he answers the locket, a bit of a smile on his face--meera must be thrilled, and he too is glad. for as strange and enigmatic as jojen had been throughout their journey, bran had relied on both of the reed siblings as his dear and true friends.

now all they need is hodor, he thinks. ] We're at a keep called Cothromach, in my sister Sansa's care. [ obviously this is happy news--though times have been rough, cothromach is still a stark stronghold. it's not winterfell, but it's becoming a new home. ] Will you come to us?

[ This is a face that Jojen has seen in his greendreams before, but regardless of privacy he dare not reveal this knowledge just yet. Meera speaks of her as Sansa, but the last he had dreamt of her she was going by Alayne. It should be her choice to offer the information, even if he already has it. ]

I swore an oath of loyalty alongside my elder sister to the Starks. I should hope that I know those that matter so dearly to me.

[ soft. shrewd. but also fearful. ] And you would swear it again, would you? If you were asked?

[ His answer is spoken as simple fact, easy even for his age. ]

As I had done before, so I would do again. The world is a different one, the old and the new gods alike gone, but there are still things that remain the same.

It's enough; I'll not ask you to swear it again. Not in this moment. All I ask is your name, instead.

[ her mind has already seized upon her guess. ]

[ Names have power - why else would someone deign to go by another? But here, he can give it. ]

My name is Jojen.

There you are. [ As Meera got a smile, so too does Bran. It's a relief to see his face outside of his dreams, though they are still a ways away from one another. It had been his duty to help Bran, and he had come to care quickly for the young Stark. ]

Of course I will. [ There's no questioning it. ] Meera has said that she will come for me, but I wouldn't want her to leave the keep if you and your sister are both there. Besides, you wouldn't believe who I've met here.

[ Ask Bran, do it. Ask who he met. ]

[ she allows herself a small smile. it's almost...proud. alayne she might have once been, but ned stark's own presence in the world had forced sansa's hand. she owns her name; she owns her blood.

she owns it now. ] How good it is to finally meet you, Lord Jojen.

[ because he is, after all, the son of a noble house. she will give him his courtesies. ] You have been a good friend to my brother. I must thank you for it.

[ A small twist of a smile curls across his expression, but Jojen doesn't turn away the courtesy. Rather, he merely inclines his head in a slight bow, regardless of how far away she is in her keep. ]

Your father was a good friend to mine, like many of our two families have been. I only saw it fit to be the same for your brother, Lady Sansa.

I'll be alright. Hodor's not here, so I couldn't leave the castle. [ he could, with meera, but he would not leave her unable to defend herself on the way to caer glaem. it's not far, if he remembers correctly, from his own journey with the lady of the coyotes. ]

[ but jojen's phrasing gives him pause. who could he have possibly met? another of his family, perhaps? bran tilts his head and asks-- ] Was it my mother? [ with a bit of excitement, hope maybe, in his voice. he had only missed his father by weeks, it seemed, and it hurt his heart to know he could have seen him one last time, beyond dreams and weirwood trees. ]

how do you know my brother

[She puts the talk of Ned on hold for now, sure he will hear it a hundred times over.]

I am glad to hear it. You look-- better. [Not quite as ill, and she feels better about it.] Some have healing magic here. I can ask if you wish it.

[The fact he has met anyone puts a smile on her face.] There are many a strange beast here, dragons, men who walk as beasts, and faeries. I am sure you have met them. Almost akin to the Children.

[ she isn't surprised. merely curious: ] How quick you are! Bran must have told you I am here.

[ she doesn't know why jojen might be able to tell the difference between her and arya. unless tales have gotten around. unless her brother has shared so much of himself...

that is a tender thought. she almost smiles. ]

[ Oh, if he has anything to say about it he will. ]

Better, yes. [ Though that isn't saying much, considering the state of life he's lived for quite some time. ] It isn't a bad idea. Even if there's nothing to be done for it, it would be interesting to speak with them about their magic.

[ Leave it to Jojen to meet a griffin, though. Of course he wouldn't meet anyone that could qualify as normal. ] They were rather helpful, to a point, but they did remind me of the Children quite a bit. I had to take a moment to make sure that I was not in the middle of a wakeful vision.

He spoke frequently and fondly of his family. I can only imagine that you are the lovely Sansa that he told us of.

[ True, he's cheating a fair bit, but Bran did speak of the Starks on their journey. There would be no mistaking who this girl is, even if he hadn't seen her for himself in his greendreams. ]

It is so good to finally meet you, even if it's across such a distance.

Well, perhaps we shall see to that sooner than later. [ Considering Zhaneel's size, and her willingness to help him, she'd be willing to assist Bran as well. It would be good, he thinks, but Jojen will keep that idea to himself for the meantime.

A wan smile flickers across his expression, there and gone before he shakes his head with a little regret. ] I would have been so pleased to have met her, but unfortunately not. Perhaps she'll arrive soon, along with your father again.

[ He hopes so, for Bran's sake, and so that he may meet them. But he moves to soothe the hurt. ] Do you know House Connington? And their sigil, the griffin? Well, I've met one - a griffin, not a Connington.

[ And there's the other sister. ]

He is my friend.
We met when my sister and I renewed the Reed's oath of loyalty to the Starks.

[Seeing him has eased her, knowing he can only improve here. Well he should at least.]

I know what you mean. They are very kind. [More than the trolls at least.]

Should I come for you then? To meet you at the castle?

are you kin to the lord of greywater watch?

[ bran's face falls for a second--he would have loved to see his lady mother, perhaps more than anyone save his father. still, he's been trying not to get his hopes up too much, and the arrival of jojen had been a blessing as well. jojen had been a mentor of sorts to bran, and having his strange ability to see the future far clearer than bran has been able to would be incredibly good to have.

plus, bran missed his company, a little.

he pauses, startled by the admission (no, he didn't remember house connington--maester luwin would be ashamed) and pictures the beast, brown eyes wide. ] A griffin?
