[ as the video flickers on, you can see a lovely, pale woman, poking at the screen as if she's trying to get the thing to work and her eyes widen when she realizes that the device is, in fact, working. despite the flush to her cheeks, her expression turns more diplomatic a moment later.]

Faeries and imps, what a wonder. I never thought them to be real, only the thing of storybooks and to keep children from wandering the forest. [ her smile turns wry for a moment as she glances off camera towards the fairy in her room.

there's a pause in her speech as she murmurs a soft word of thanks to said fairy who brought her to her rooms] I suppose I ought to accept that I am no where near Nemeth or Camelot. However if there are any from my home, if you could step forward and make yourself known... I am Princess Mithian of Nemeth and I wish to find a way to send a message to my kingdom, if it is at all possible. [ you can catch so much more with honey.] I fear there will be a rather desperate search party sent out, if I do not return soon.

[The mention of Camelot was enough to draw Mordred's attention and cause her to speak up. As she did, though her voice is muffled every so slightly by the hard exterior of her helmet, her tone is still as courtly and regal as ever.]

It has been sometime since I've heard anyone speak of Camelot. If my lady could spare the words, would you be so kind as to tell me the state of the kingdom?

Oh? Do you know it? [ her expression is hopeful for a moment before she offers a gentle smile.] The state of it? It flourishes under it's new king, Arthur. [ it's the truth and despite Arthur breaking their engagement, she cannot hold ill will towards camelot or him.]

[Mordred jumped at the mention of Arthur as a new king. What was going on here? Unless something was horribly amiss, that man should have been dead and buried in their home world. Needless to say, such a statement rattled the young knight quite a bit, a fact evident from a brief chatter of her teeth that may be barely audible through the feed.]

I actually called Camelot home quite sometime ago, sadly I doubt I will ever see it again in my lifetime.

[Seeing as she was the one who dragged it into a spiral of death and madness after all.]

[ although the company of someone, a knight especially, would be comforting.]

I has nothing to do with this place in the least. For the place I will return upon the end of my stay here is not the land of my birth, but instead a battlefield of another era entirely.

[Mordred sighed under her breath, thinking that her words must sound insane to a degree.]

I'm afraid it is a rather complicated set of circumstances. But I am almost certain that because of this I will never see my true home again.

[Is that so? Saber knew with Second Magic involved that many things were different in the Camelot Lancelot of the Seelie knew. The most important one being that King Arthur was legitimately male in his land, not female as Saber was having only portrayed herself as a man and lived as one. This alliance was not one Saber recalled, but that could have been because it was a very long time ago to her...]

[ she feels the need to keep her words measured. it is unsurprising that so many have heard of camelot, the kingdom is one of the fairest and most infamous of them all. yet this is the second person asking for her thoughts on it, now on it's king.

her lips press together in a quiet smile, the mention of the unseelie court is troubling, from what little she understands of the courts. she cannot assume that this woman is a knight but perhaps a subject. or by her court alliance, a traitor.]

King Arthur is wise and fair, he loves his people. And he is beloved by them. [ she pauses.] He follows his heart. Do you not know your own king?

[Saber wished she had followed her heart when she ruled, though she supposed in the early days of her reign it seemed that she had instead of setting aside her own personal feelings, desires and wants. Eventually, her people would question if she understood human emotion being as she never let her own affect her decisions and rule.

But it was true that she was wise, fair and had loved her people. She still did, despite how much her people had come to hate her, how they had betrayed her...]

I most certainly do know King Arthur - more than any. But I know that not all believe as you do. It was important for me to know where you stand. Alliances do not always breed admiration.
