(seelie&unseelie) first hunt ❂ video
[Guess who has two thumbs and is getting a handle on "fairy," technology. This guy. There's some rifling, and a brief shot of his face before he manages to get the damn thing figured out. Once he has the thing zero in on what he assumes is a reasonable view of him head on based on the image he's seeing he clears his throat.]
Yeah. This is weird.
[Coming from the guy that never had a myspace and doesn't use computers for anything but paranormal research, except for the occasional porno. Something he hasn't even mastered yet. He'd still rely on skin mags and pay-per-view if he had the option.]
Okay. Probably pointless, but new recruit here and I'm as pro-rights as the next guy but when I got the memo that I'd be waging war on behalf of fairies this isn't exactly what I anticipated.
[Dean scrubs a hand over his face, pausing to collect his thoughts. Sure, it's a bad joke, but anything to break the ice and take a little tension out of the situation.]
I've exhausted all my options on getting in touch with the people back home, and any resources on a way out are all coming up goose egg.
Anyone got any bright ideas? 'Cause so far this all seems like a really bad acid trip and getting enlisted by friggin' Tinkerbell's not my idea of a good time.
If you've got some insight that goes beyond the typical gist, feel free to speak up.

[ luke shrugs. look on the bright side, fellow acid tripper. ] But, hey, Tinkerbell's war kind of beats that of Pan and Hook.

[Yeah, he doesn't even know what that is. Good luck trying to explain it. 404 pings him though, and there's a brief look of recognition. He's come up with a lot of those in the pursuit of information on shit no one that isn't hunting ever looks up.]
Gotcha. Never mind.
[That's the last thing he needs right now, honestly he's had his fill of irrelevant crap. All he wants to do is get to the bottom of this and then get back to Sam.]
At least Pan and Hook got right to the point, drawing it out's not gonna help anyone. If these are fairies I really doubt they're gonna do much in the ways of flower power.

[ wham, bam, thank you ma'am. luke knows exactly what he said, but he says so with a blank face that gives none of it away. he's the guy with the long-term plans. while it's not exactly ideal to him to be stuck fighting a fairy war, just like his companion here, he much prefers the things that take time to build up than the short-term wars that lead to nowhere. his capturing of olympus had taken five, long years to fall apart. to think this war would be over in a day almost seems disappointing. ]
[ plus, this is his second chance. he wants it to last for as long as possible. ]
I've never heard of a war that was over in a day. [ there's always planning, and strategising, and mobolising, and crafting weapons and transportation. the fighting may take a day, but the war never begins and ends in one, full day. ]

[Yeah, he took that to the wrong place and no surprises there. Not like he wasn't talking to another guy that'd get the point right away. Things like that happened all the time especially with the lifestyle he lived. One town to the next didn't leave a lot of room for long lasting relationships. Cassie was the only one.]
Nothing's ever over in a day. That's bullshit.
