two | video ( open to both courts )
[the locket is being carried, facing outwards, around the castle of caer scima. the feed isn't too bumpy, but it does sway a bit, jerking around every so often as effy avoids tripping over rocks or branches. she's fairly far away from the castle, but that doesn't seem to bother her. every so often she stops, marking a tree with a sharp rock, to be sure she knows her way back.]
Okay.
[she stops momentarily to adjust the locket, turning it around so it shows her face. with her free hand, she tucks the rock away in her pocket and holds up one blue feather, twisting it around quickly between her fingertips.]
It really isn't too hard to find these, is it? They're everywhere.
[fortunately, for her, she doesn't seem to be feeling (or experiencing) the effects of the feathers just yet. she's found two already, within the past hour and a half or so. the effort isn't exhausting, so she's enjoying it. it's like an easter egg hunt. she's only doing it for the sake of figuring out boons, though.]
If anyone wants to come looking, text me.
[or they can follow the marked trees outside of the castle. they're pretty in-your-face.]
Oh, and if anyone's by the station, I'd like a few smokes. Thanks.
[and with that, the locket is closed, ending the feed.]
( ooc: feel free to find her wandering about looking for feathers around caer scima! or, alternatively, find her on her way back. whatever works for you :) )

Even places they shouldn't be. [ s'up girl. ]
video »
she smiles slyly, though, masking her yearning with being impressed.]
Good catch.
[even though he probably didn't pull it up from a fish net.]
Do they do anything?
video »
[ true story, yo. ]
video »
[this place had surprises coming out of its ass, didn't it?]
Who?
video »
[ hint: look it up. it's actually hilarious. ]
video »
Oh my god.
[she cuts the feed immediately to find the video, and, low and behold-- that is one hell of a mess. she doesn't even know if it's real, some part of her doesn't register it as being real. but she has to accept it, has to laugh, or she'll go crazy.
a few moments later, she's connected back to gale again.]
That's unbelievable.

[ a gesture between a smirk and a grin touches his lips. he has to laugh too — at the ridiculous, at the hyperbolic, at the impossible.
it's the only thing he can do. ]
Wasn't any more believable to watch live.
video »
He's an idiot. Don't think I'll be keeping these feathers much longer.
video »
[ he doesn't know where that damn star is or if it's still inside of him. if that wasn't enough, the memory then sent out for all to see was enough to teach him never to keep anything. he's waiting for the chance to get rid of his feathers before something like that happens again. ]
Bury it. Or if you find one of the fairies or the imps, just give it to them. They like that sort of thing.
video »
I'll do that. Has anything happened to you?
video »
An octopus isn't the animal for me.
video »
[she pauses, then-]
A wild dog, maybe. Dingo or a wolf.
[which are both very different types of canines, effy, jfc]
video »
What's a dingo?
video »

video »
[ except he might die in a desert but. ]
video »
[she seems pleased by her assessment.]

video »
Plenty.
[and she closes her locket. it's like her job is to be 50% vague and 50% weird.]
