Voice - Seelie/Unseelie

[He's busy in his lab trying to conjure up something doglike, so you'll excuse him for not showing what he's doing to the enemy forces. That being said, he knows that some people here have friends over in the other court and whatever the shadowy things are, he knows they're a threat to both sides.]

I'm working on a projection spell for anyone that doesn't have a dog yet. I also really hope that every girl and woman in both courts has a dog or is in a group with a dog. If you don't, I hear there's a houndsmaster in both courts, so please, please go get a dog. Or something doglike. A fox. I don't know. Whatever. Just...

[He's managed to create a spell that has essence of dog in it (slobber and hair) so that the projection that comes out snarling smells and carries with it a little bit of the real dog.

He turns the video on to show the one he has made, the dog that jumps out and snarls at nothing one of the larger wolfhounds. Finished with his display, he turns the video back off and goes back to voice.]

For those in the Seelie court without a dog, I have one of these for you. For anyone in the Unseelie... you should maybe work on something like that. If you've got any magic users over there who need the spell, I'd be happy to talk to them about it.

[There were a few things that Stiles could be generous with. Defending women was one of them.]

Why is it you wish us to have hounds as our companions?

[Oh. That. She'd run into one alright, and then run away as fast as possible.]

I was not aware that dogs keep the creature of shadow at bay. I encountered a huge one at the Station and barely escaped with my life. How did you come by this information?

[Well that would have been great to know earlier since she was both female and a star holder.]

I think the greater danger has passed for me as the shadow beast... the lawkamercyme seems to have removed itself from where I am.

[She smiles a little though, in thanks for this information anyway]

I will look for getting a hound then as I do not wish to encounter such a creature again or ever if that is at all possible. [She didn't think that last request was possible however.]

[Star holders represent!!

She was a lot less amused to hear that, and her smile fell.]

More of them? Then I better not leave the station, even if it is to inquire after a hound. Thank you for the warning and the advice.

[She does not like the idea of being forced to fight another monster without a canine's, but if that is the only option she has, the so be it.]

[Slightly pained look.]

I do not like to call upon the favors of the courts if I can help it. I shall instead ask around the station to see if there are by chance some hounds here.

[There was a moment of confusion over his word choice, (how was a bite an an answer?) before she mentally shrugged it off as a question for another time.]

That is sound advice. You are very wise.

Talking in riddles makes you clever, but not always wise.

[Forgive her as she just stares and blinks, thinking that he has had to litterally jump through hoops and do tricks.]

What does athletic performance have to do with being told information? I agree with you that being told the truth would be far easier and a much faster.

[Give her some time and she might pick it up!]

I can understand their point in wishing for you to make the discoveries on your own. [She is after all an eldar and they are a fan of this method of teaching.] I can also understand your frustrations, especially if it something important. A lesson learned too late is not a lesson after all.
