[ It's safe to say that Ariadne has never been this upset about anything in her entire life. She tends to smile, with large, gentle eyes. She does not tend to look murderous.

She does today.

Her trust has been broken, betrayed. Her people have been caught in the storm that Reynard started. Her mind has been violated, her companion dead.

When she speaks, her voice starts out calm. Cold. ]

So. When were we all going to start sharing what we know about the Cult of the Fox?

[ A breath and then she snarls. ]

Because it turns out they're wearing shard masks that let them look like anyone and they can get into your memories and mind control you to the point that you'll hang yourself.

[ It takes a tremendous amount of effort not to throw something. ]

That lying little fuck and those like him know how to use shards even when they're masks. If we don't stop sitting on our information then they're going to tear us apart from the inside. Do not trust anyone without- somehow verifying it's them, though I don't know how when they can do that much.

If you're staying at Diasbaile -- get to work or get out. I don't know how many people might still be under his spell but he's destroyed wards and rooms on the top two floors, read what was in my office if he didn't just steal it.

Everyone- be on your guard. And share your information, because otherwise we're all fighting this blind and then everyone is dead.

You need to get out of the Station. Just in case. Bucky's with me, he- we're not okay, he was with me when it happened, neither of us remember anything after a point. But we'll look after each other; he at least knows I'm me.

Gaff died in the Battle of Falling Fire. It was a cultist all along. Grell, can you watch Diasbaile? I can only assume that he'll know what I would do, but he didn't get in your head.

I have information. [The words are short and crisp. From the looks of it, he's in Caer Scima. He had to make sure that Hiro got back. While he had wanted to return to the Diasbaile right away, he had to check on Hiro, make sure he confiscated his crap, and everything in-between.

And now he's shaking with anger. Yet again ... yet again, stupid crap with Hiro has blinded him, making him be not where he's supposed to be.

(Later, at a more rational time, he'll realize he just took actions to save Hiro's life. But not now.)]

I'm—coming. [Still angry, still tense. His eyes glow brighter and bluer than they did before. His breathing is shaky.]

Hunting. Not that I know where to fucking start.

[ It's worth noting that she's never sworn this much one right after another since she ended up in the Drabwurld. ]

First, Clarke and Bellamy have been working to investigate the cult for months. What it ended up with is two things: that hanging in Daonna, which Bellamy saw first hand. [Somehow.] And secondly, a bunch of heads being sent their way, to remind them that they might be next.

From what I got, it's a whole lotta nothing, and if they can do that to you, Loki, and Bucky, it was a taunt, nothing more. I had a feeling it might be, but now I know for sure that they don't know shit.

[That might be his anger talking, but he's sure on that.]

Secondly, Hiro's Seelie boyfriend has been investigating the murder of an Oracle. He thought ... he believed that it might have been Morla and Reul that sent that Unseelie on that quest, but now we know that's bullshit. Hell, this might even be the same asshole.

He murdered the girl, taking her apart bit by bit, to do a ritual to fight against the Avatar of the Void.

I told him that I'd look into that. The last thing the Unseelie needed was a child murderer running around. But then Nico shared the bit about the mask, and here we are.

[There's a pause.]

Oh, and I wouldn't worry too much about the relationship between them. As an aside. I don't mind sharing this because I dealt with their bullshit already.

I knew they'd been investigating. I knew about the heads, but not- the rest.

[ She all but growls, fingers playing on the hilt of the sword Loki gave her. ]

Seeing as Loki, Bucky, and I were literally twisting our own nooses, it isn't nothing. And before that, he- did something, while he was in my head. Changed things.

[ Ariadne, meanwhile, is certain that there is another thread entirely: one to all of them. ]

I don't care who Hiro is or isn't holding hands with right now, Jason. What I care about is that no one fucking thought to mention anything to- to anyone about the murderer of the Oracle.

I just found out in the last twelve hours. I was going to head out to The Barrel to get more information. I'm a little pissed off myself. Guess what his boyfriend believed? He thought that Morla did that. That Morla would send someone off on that quest, to rip apart a little girl—[He's so fucking infuriated. By this war. By everything.]

It might be nothing, but this whole thing has been planned to drive a bigger, uglier wedge between the sides, to make it so that they can grow stronger. And if they can screw with Loki that way—[Then they're all screwed. What hope do they have? What can he even do?

His breathing is ragged before he presses on.]

I can see shards ... I can see the signature. Don't know if it'll help, but I offer myself as your eyes and ears, Ariadne.

His mask acted like a regular shard, as far as I can tell. I don't know enough about them.

[ She swears again, reaches up to rub the palms of her hands into her eyes. ]

Yes. It's- been pointed out how monumentally stupid rushing off is.

Especially if they have already harnessed the power to kill the thing that guides the Void. We don't stand a damn chance, in that instance.

I doubt they're doing us any favors. [Favors ... like destroying the Void. He wouldn't bet on that.] They probably just got to the Oracle before we could, and dressed it up real nice so that anyone investigating it would think we were the bastards into killing children for kicks. [Because doing a ritual like that ... Jason can only think that someone has to have the capacity to do it.]

A mark of some kind. Something they wouldn't know to look for, that they wouldn't know about, that can identify me as me. A- a tattoo or a scar or something, somewhere that isn't normally visible.

I can do it. Though there is a catch. [A catch he's been hesitant to point out. They don't just know about her. He told her ... everything. They hadn't been in his head, but there is still a risk.]

One, they might know that you go for this. And two, they might know what I ... mark you with. They know a lot about me now. [He wants to point this out before they proceed. Things might go badly if it isn't something they consider.]

I can ask a few other people. You can all draw straws or something, so they don't know- who actually did it.

[ Whatever it turns out to be. That would depend on the person who drew the short straw, she imagines.

I'd actually stab you clean through and give you a healing item to heal just enough so that the scar lasts forever.
