These graves, it seems we have a lot of work ahead of us. For the sake of making sure the entire remains of those buried beneath the flowers, I'm willing to offer my help to anyone who asks. I'll be able to find any pieces someone might miss.

I'll mostly be staying around Caer Scima, the surrounding forests but I'll be willing to travel as far as the Station if need be.

If you need a place to say, my manor is a bit south of the fairy ring in La Llorona.

[ She's offered on the network already -- might as well reiterate it. ]

It's safer than staying out among the trees -- not to mention warmer.

Ah, I appreciate that. And no doubt Katsa will as well. [Then again, maybe not. Katsa has no problems roughing it. Po does though mostly because his Grace doesn't keep him so warm.]

You could do less, I'm sure, if you really tried. [He smiles. Opening your home to someone is no small thing.]

Something like that. [Traveling companion, lover. That was really as far as their relationship was likely to go.]

Well, I have rooms open -- and a stable, if you're riding.

I'm glad to hear it.

[He almost laughs at the mention of a stable.] That is welcome news. Katsa has this habit of riding her horses nearly into the ground, they'll need somewhere to rest properly.

Poor things! Maybe she should look into getting a cleg -- they're flying horses.

Flying horses? [Well.] I'll be glad to suggest it to her.

They're absolutely gorgeous, and very strong-willed. I don't know her, but just from the impression I've gotten- I think she'd like them.

So we are both on the road then, it seems. Travel safely, Po! La Llorna does not like people, much, and the trees are dangerous - watch out for the willows!

It seems so! I couldn't sit still any longer and this is a good use of my skills. It just doesn't seem right to inter only part of the fallen.

[Wait-] The willows?

Twas an old willow that nearly caught us on our first journey through. [ Maglor nods ]

The forest in general dislikes things that walk, whether on two feet or four - but the willows seem to be especially treacherous.

I'll keep that in mind and a knife in my boot. [Heh-] I would never have imagined, before coming here, that trees could be an enemy. Thank you, Maglor.

Better to keep flint! They dislike fire, and it does have to be used carefully, but it might be what saves you.

[ thoughtfully ] Your ability to see... does it extend to your hearing? The willows Sing - I would not rest near any of them, but if you can hear them, it will be easier to avoid.

That won't be hard. Katsa can make a fire in almost any type of weather and with nearly anything at hand. [It's kind of scary, almost.]

Unfortunately, no. Just my perception of the world and people around me.

[ Hm ] I do not know how your gift would interpret them, but... they have black hearts, the willows - deep, old hate. Their songs are sun and water and sleep... but beneath them is the chill of the grave and a terrible hunger.
