It seems Reynard The Fox is a Hot Topic of the week, and I know that he is being discussed in greater depth elsewhere, thank goodness. [Seriously, this stuff is very nice to know.] That said, I may have a bit of new information for those who weren't aware.

He was behind the destruction of the Drabkeeper's Castle. By himself, it seems. I don't know why, but if you've seen what's happened to it, you know that that's no joke. It's been completely levelled.

[So, that might give a greater appreciation of what he might be capable of to those that didn't know, before.

There's more to it than that, but she doesn't know how much of a target she's made herself out to be and doesn't want to implicate or involve anyone else. Still, someone should know all of it.]

Secondly, I would caution anyone with any kind of Sight [there is a careful emphasis of the word that she's certain won't be missed by those who know what to look for.] in taking extra precautions in using it, if you have both the means to and the control.

When you say they saw you -- you are sure of this? They did not just happen to look the direction you were in? Do you think they are conscious of the fact that you saw this, then? -- Forgive me all the questions, it is only that... Reynard is not one to let a thing go. If he or someone associated with him suspects you of interfering then I fear for your safety.

I am absolutely positive, because they--she--trapped me in and compromised my own spell, attacked me, and then blinded me with a curse. She knew I was there and obscured my sight, that's never happened to me before. I have seen amazing things with magic, but that was a new one. So yes, I am certain I was seen, it's why I was...dealt with, I guess.

I'm fine now, please don't worry. The blindness was only temporary. It wore off after a day. However...it did so on its own. Nothing anyone did, nothing I, my friends, or anyone in the medical wing did worked. And she did something to attack my mind.

I mention all this, so you know what she's capable of, and to be honest, she could probably do worse or be especially creative.

Agreed. I'd like to hope not, but she looks like how I've been told Reynard does; I've not seen him for myself. But she did very clearly call him "Father".

Lithe, pale, young looking, red-haired, sharp-eyed... He has freckles, no facial hair.

Promise me you will be cautious, Lady Flora. Travel nowhere alone. Keep your guard up.

[He can't see it, but Flora puts a hand over her eyes and sighs.]

I promise I'll be cautious. Trust me, I do not want to run into that again without being prepared. Travelling, though, might be a little tricky. It's...a lot easier for me than most other people. Honestly, this just makes me wonder how many children he might have. He's centuries old, after all.

Age does not beget children, especially in times of war when many die so easily, yet... it is true. He may well have more than the one, and no doubt his children would further his cause rather that work against him.

Still, there is always the chance his children may not take his side -- family feuds are something I know well enough about.

Honestly, you'd be very surprised, especially with longer-lived beings. There can be lulls in fighting, and such things can bring people closer together anyway.

That is a fair point, though. [She considers that, though. She can't imagine fighting with her own family to great lengths, but she's seen it and what it does to people.] I'm sorry, though, that must be hard.

Ah -- forgive me, no, not for myself, Lady Flora. My family are long dead. For my king. His conflict with his sister caused a great deal of difficulties within Camelot, they fought each other on and off for some years.
