[A scream begins this video, but all that follows is the sound of covers being shifted and someone walking, unsteadily, closer to the locket. Vanyel's face comes into view, his features washed out against his black hair.]

I must have... [His voice is hoarse, nearly cracking.] I am Gifted with Foresight. It has been...unreliable...since my arrival. Yet...

I fear what I see when I close my eyes. I fear what the fairies and imps say to us.

What becomes of this world may not matter, but what of our worlds?

[A shiver skates down his back and he clenches his teeth.]

Their magic could be interfering with my own. I pray that is the case. Otherwise...

[He glances over his shoulder before closing his eyes, pained.]

We deserve to see the future.

I do not know. [There are so many paths the future could take.] I only see one outcome, but there are many more depending on our actions.

It depends on how far into the future the event takes place. There is one vision I have had since I was a child and...

I fear it, but I have not seen it come to pass.

So what you see is not sure to come to pass? [She pauses.]

My brother has dreams, but he is sure of them. [Of course it's not just of the future, but of what has happened or what was happening elsewhere.]

It is a possibility. [A 50/50 shot, really.] I am Gifted with Foresight, but such a Gift is more...cautionary in my world. What I see might occur or it might not depending on choices made. Sometimes my visions change to show me how our actions effect the outcome...

My brother has green dreams. Not many even believe in what he can do any more. But he isn't the only one I know capable of this.
