Second Bloom ❀ (Video) [Open to both]
[Flora is outside, sitting on what appears to be a swing, but in place of chains are woven vines. As time passes, little flowers bloom along their length. The locket is not on her person, it hovers in front of her, and the view shows her wearing what look like a white overall dress over a pink top and work gloves. Several fairies are flying around her, braiding her hair, or sitting on either shoulder. She waves before gently taking hold of the vine chains.]
Hello everyone, I hope you're well.
[Her voice is more deliberate with the well wishes, and her smile is kind, knowing. A lot's happened--when isn't it--but she does hope everyone has come out of it for the better, somehow. It's no meaningless platitude.
She moves to put her finger to her lip, remembers she's wearing gloves and thinks better of it, and instead cants her head thoughtfully. Her voice is gentle and curious.]
There's something I've been wondering about for a while now, and don't quite seem to understand, just yet. [There is a slight upturn to her lips. She is a patient girl, but she can't say she likes not understanding things. It's what she always seeks to do, if she can.] I've heard of some things from other people that were kind enough to answer me [mostly kind, anyway. Zelos was a little rude.] but with so many people from so many places, I'm curious about the similarities and differences.
[She looks directly at the locket.]
What exactly is a God or Goddess? Or what would you say make one? The same with angels. Is this something that has some sort of set criteria or is it more malleable?
[One might notice that she doesn't ask about demons, but that's because she doesn't realise there's a need; they're the same as monsters to her.
Flora dips her head in thanks and smiles, once again.]
Please, I would very much like to hear what anyone has to say. Thank you.
[Seelie Locked]
I'm headed to the mountains for a mission, soon. I just thought I should mention that. It should be interesting.

we're making this happen
What? How was the goddess killed? What about the other two? What did they do or didn't do? And why would he want to destroy everything? People were still living, weren't they?
[SO MANY QUESTIONS WHAT]
I should hope so!
The world is dying, and all-powerful God can't do a damn thing about it, so he's saving the people he likes and creating a new world.
no subject
She hears that and sucks in a breath, because it thankfully doesn't hit close to home in a greatly figurative sense--the worlds she calls home are fine, even if one could be better--it's something she does her best to prevent.
There are too many things she's hearing right now to react to.]
Why is the world dying? And if this God can't save it, why is he only saving a few people. He's responsible for the lives of everyone, isn't he?
no subject
[Lumina says this with a bit more excitement than she should.]
I doubt he thinks so. He doesn't understand people at all.
no subject
[Also, yeah, she's noting that and man Lumina please don't be some sort of child villain or something.]
Not that that makes it okay, but if he doesn't understand people, who does he choose to save and why?
[Why save anyone if you're not going to save everyone?]
no subject
It's made of souls, mostly.
[Not a villain, just a little troll.]
He sent his 'Savior' to do it. Pick and choose.
no subject
[Good gracious, what is wrong with this world?
Oh, heck no--you have got to be kidding her. Flora frowns deeply and she looks like she's about to get really upset, and so takes a breath, and then another.
Her voice is even, but deeper.]
It's like this God doesn't even care who does or doesn't survive!
no subject
[Lumina smirks.]
Because he...doesn't care?
omg i thought i replied to this
[What a mess--not that that warrants scrapping and starting over. It just means there should be more done.
Flora frowns, deeply.]
Well, he should. And I'm not sure he should place this on someone else's shoulders like this, either. Who is this Saviour, anyway?
Nope! :P
[Lumina smiles faintly.]
My sister.
forgive me
Well. That's an interesting development.
She feels like she should take a moment, because she has a feeling the rabbit hole is about to go deeper.]
I'm Flora, by the way. What's your name?
Oh I suppose. This time.
I'm Lumina.
You're so good to me.
[She's getting more than she bargained for, but that's a success? She thinks?]
no subject
no subject
Somehow.]
I've met one, and I've heard others talk about them, but I didn't have a clear enough picture of them as a whole, so I thought I'd ask. I know every world is different, that was actually a draw for me in asking; I wanted to know what might have been the same across worlds, or different.
[She smiles thinly.]
I just wanted to sate my curiosity, is all.
Sorry, I was at a con all weekend!
[Lumina shakes her head sadly, then grins.]
So, is it sated? Have you learned any exciting things?
