Video; Unseelie & Seelie
[Lancelot, standing on the edge of a riverbed, had traveled north after the battle for the Silmaril by himself. Realizing that it would have constituted a sort of abandonment of his post, he decided to let Ganondorf know what he was doing.]
Members of the Unseelie and Seelie courts. I have a warning for you. I, the Knight of the Lake, have been recruited to aid the Dryads of La Llorona in the defense of Fairy-held safe havens throughout the realm. As such, I will eliminate any enemy to them I come across. If you have information on those who threaten such realms, send messages to me. I will end such offenders.
That is all.
[Lancelot added a second message to Ganondorf, specifically.]
[PRIVATE/TEXT/TO: GANONDORF]
My lord. My true upbringing stems from the support of the fey. In this, I'm indebted to them to protect their lands and their well-being.
In this, I will be working to restore one of their Glens, so it may flourish in the wake of battles that had sundered it. Despite this, I will always be available for your sake. Please, do not hesitate to call upon my aid if necessary. My response will be ever swift.

Mn. Perhaps you ought to distribute seeds -- [ It's only sort of a joking suggestion. ] -- There's a, ah, 'ring' near the forest, correct? So many passing through may cause incidental damage over time, but establishing replanting as custom could act as precaution. For everyone's safety.
Though I confess, I admit some confusion as to what might endanger an entire, apparently sentient forest.
[ Oak blight? Fungus? Should they all begin a war against ivy? If there are walking mushrooms, Felix decides, he's right out. ]

Though, on your latter point--I should advise you don't underestimate the terrifying nature of 'the world'. Men, beasts and what comes with innovation tends to threaten the world of nature immensely.

Men and beasts must surely be considered a part of such a world. When I look around a cleared farm, I see not horror, but children fed.
[ Environmental preservation is perhaps something of a foreign concept to Felix -- he's studied every plant to ever pass through Arabel, and he knows a thing or two about nature. Nature's always out there waiting, and nature usually wants to kill you. The trick is to kill it first, and get as much as you can off the body. No one tell the Sierra Club. ]
I am gratified to hear you undertake such active, positive steps to aid your charges. [ Houseplants, he substitutes. ] For surely it does a deal more than death threats to preserve the peace they claim. If I can be of any assistance --
[ Empty words, or so he intends. He's not entirely certain what he'd do if anyone took him up on it. Plant trees, I suppose. ]

[In that, Lancelot couldn't become compatible with the world. Every one of his values was old and his existence a blight upon humanity. Though, he wasn't compatible even in his day and age.]
Death threats scarcely amount to much, but they are a necessary courtesy. [He nodded, accepting Felix's offer without hesitation.]
But, I do not actively seek such a thing. If you offer your assistance to lessen such a toll, I will gladly accept, sir.

That which one can become again. Such is the nature of change.
[ Shit. He hadn't quite actually expected Lancelot to take him up on it, but pride dictates he follow through. Felix nods. ]
You're the expert on -- ah, fairy havens. What would you advise best needs doing?

Incur their good faith by showing respect to the forest. Often times, the health of the forest itself is aligned with the health of the nymphs. They cannot protect themselves, for example--so, if you dissuade loggers or plant trees for them, the health of the havens will increase.

Still — he’d sooner learn of them firsthand. There have been times, Felix is keenly aware, that he hasn’t been worth protecting either.
Felix ducks his head. It’s at least meant to look respectful.]
Thank you, then, for the service done us both. How did they first stumble into your sympathies?
