[Lancelot, standing on the edge of a riverbed, had traveled north after the battle for the Silmaril by himself. Realizing that it would have constituted a sort of abandonment of his post, he decided to let Ganondorf know what he was doing.]
Members of the Unseelie and Seelie courts. I have a warning for you. I, the Knight of the Lake, have been recruited to aid the Dryads of La Llorona in the defense of Fairy-held safe havens throughout the realm. As such, I will eliminate any enemy to them I come across. If you have information on those who threaten such realms, send messages to me. I will end such offenders.
That is all.
[Lancelot added a second message to Ganondorf, specifically.]
[PRIVATE/TEXT/TO: GANONDORF]
My lord. My true upbringing stems from the support of the fey. In this, I'm indebted to them to protect their lands and their well-being.
In this, I will be working to restore one of their Glens, so it may flourish in the wake of battles that had sundered it. Despite this, I will always be available for your sake. Please, do not hesitate to call upon my aid if necessary. My response will be ever swift.

[It was a name he knew. One that inspired a great deal of confrontation between forces, recently. Lancelot held no grudges, but he certainly held guilt to his own name as if it were his name to begin with. Not simply being able to brush past a thing, Lancelot inclined his head.]
I must inform you, then, that I am a soldier under Ganondorf and the late Celegorm, sir. I will not begrudge your anger, but to leave such information out of this would do this situation no good.
Know only that my dedication to the fey is my own.

I thank you for the honesty and for not keeping this information from me, 'tis an honourable thing to do.
[ Now... whether or not he thinks serving Ganondorf of all the people is an honourable thing or not, well, that he keeps to himself. No point in antagonising one of the knights pledged to the man, after all. Not when Legolas and all those pledged to him are still far too vulnerable for his liking. ]
Serve who you may, the matters of the Seelie and Unseelie are of little import to me now. The matters of this land we have been thrust into, on the other hand, are dear to my heart. Protect the dryads and all their sisters, and there will be no anger between us.
[ Pause. ]
And do not let them fight this war.

Anger, of course, made Lancelot ugly. When his anger cleared, he found himself capable of speaking.]
...I do not want to consider the thought of nymphs or fey-kind being made to do battle. My mother is fey. Were I to allow such a sin, she would skin me.
[He added, his anger finally vanishing. The stress in his expression had depleted.] As such, you have my word that all those who bring war to those peaceful forests will have earned the ire of a great monster among men.
