[The light of day is no kinder than the dusk of yesterday, but at least Aubri has been given enough time to make himself a little more presentable. His feathers are still in disarray and he's careful to keep the left side of his face away from the locket but there's less obvious blood matted through feathers and fur. His every intention is to keep this short -- he's found it within himself to actually travel today and he feels as if he needs to travel faster than the army that left yesterday.]

Some of you know that an army marches toward Caer Glaem. [He had considered warning only those who were aligned with Seelie. However, he has friends among Unseelie and isn't dumb enough to assume he's the only one. And if any Unseelie have objections to Celegorm's march, just maybe he can spur them toward taking some action, as well. In his mind, this is not Seelie vs Unseelie. Not yet.] Do not take this lightly; it is an army of considerable strength and number. I urge you to make preparations.

[A pause. Celegorm charged him to deliver a very specific message but Aubri will not be cowed. But something needs said.] I do not believe that reason will halt their march.

[ It's not so much that she doesn't believe him, since she can only see a little, but a mother's habit or hunch to ask. A way of double-checking, because there is nothing she can do about an army, and she isn't yet sure how to apply herself to it, because she's never interfered in wars before (hers is a lonely one: just her against the demons that overtook earth, destroyed her home. the battles are too spiritual to be witnessed by human eyes). ]

[He turns his head; the fresh brand is visible now, swollen and scarred, cracked and bleeding. It is legible, though: a simplified crest of the Unseelie Court. Blood has matted his feathers down and his left eye is swollen shut.]

I will join the battle. [To say his voice is hard might be understatement. There is bitter hatred fueled by humiliation.He has indignities to repay.] I am well enough to travel.

[ Even if she was not aware of what he had been created for, she would not encourage him to reconsider. That isn't her place. Every living thing should be able to do what they feel, strongly, needs to be done. And, better to see him fight back then cower or not stand on his own feet. ]
