Why do men breathe? [ she can no less trust any here than she can the people of her own land, so she gives her warning. ]

She will be, in time. She was brought to this land from my own, my boon. [ and in a way she almost feels guilty to ask for her, but here she can watch for aithusa. here she may be able to heal swifter. ]

You have experience caring for dragons?

Oh, yeah. Loads.

Dragons are a big thing where I'm from, and I've actually got one of my own that I take care of. I even got him flying again after he, uh. Had an accident.

What would you do to help this one?

I, uhm. Well, I'm not sure. I guess it depends on what's wrong with her?

[This feels like a test, which makes him just the tiniest bit more awkward, but he wants to prove that he might just be useful. If she ever needs the help, anyway.]

Probably start at least with making sure she eats, and actually gets enough food. And make sure she's comfortable--maybe get her a little bed and a blanket, if she needs it. If she's sick, I'm not so sure I'd know how else to help... But once she's better, I can offer help training her! I...learned a lot of techniques before I was brought here.
