Voice; Unseelie locked

[Xion's voice is very quiet and hesitant, often starting and stopping as if figuring out how to best choose her words. The voice of someone who's still trying to stay as small and unnoticeable as possible, but has something she needs to ask.]

Back home, I used to be able to make my weapon disappear, and call it back when I needed it. Here... I can't. I've tried. I've still got it, but... I can't keep carrying it around, can I?

I've seen... other people have things to carry their weapons. Is there any way to... to get or make one, for mine?

[She makes a small noise, almost like she wants to say something else, but then cuts herself - and the message - off.]

I've met people here who can make their weapons disappear. I wonder why it is that you can't.

What sort of weapon is it?

I don't know....

[It's not nearly as distressing as it would have been if say, the Keyblade was gone and couldn't be summoned. But it was still bothersome and a little worrying.]

It's called a Keyblade.

A key... blade?

[ That sounds... skeptical. Katsa is literally picturing a blade the size of a key. Or a key, that's key-sized, that might be used to stab. ]

If you can't keep it in your pocket, could you not keep it on your belt or in a leather strap on your arm or leg?

I am able to do so with one weapon of mine, though, to hear this problem, it is rather odd. A limit, perhaps.

[ She knows the Outsider would be very powerful at full stature. ]

A sheathe, then. Undoubtedly, there should be ways to obtain one or have one made.

Easy. Strap it on your back. [A beat. He adds mischievously:] You won't fall over, will you?

( What do you know! It's that girl from the battlements who reminds her of her younger sisters. It is surprising to find out she's a fighter, with her being so young.

Much too young to be thrown into the middle of a war, though she won't repeat that sentiment to anyone. Instead, she suggests kindly: )

I strap my daggers to my wrists and hide them beneath my sleeves or in my boots. I could fashion a hilt for you, if you like.

You mean a sheathe, do you? A castle this size ought to have an armourer and a leatherworked both. Either of them should have the means to aid you.

[Thor doesn't know for certain, but he feels it's a safe assumption.]

[Strike that. Reverse it. And then you'll have it dead on.]

I think... it's a little too big for that. And I don't have a belt.

[So others were able to do it, but she wasn't? Why was that...?]

Yeah... that's what I was hoping for. But I'm not sure where to go.

That would depend on where you are. [ She hasn't seen her; not many people in this court have access to the lockets, unless they're shardbearers, right? ]

If you are in Caer Scima, there are several smithies who would be able to assist you. I obtained a sword that way when I was there.

[Oh hey she knows that voice.]

N-no, I don't think so. It's not that big.

[She hasn't met Axel yet, so she's not really sure how to react to the teasing.]

[Another familiar voice!]

Really? It's a lot bigger than a dagger though, I think.

Yeah. That... makes sense. [She's a little uncertain, and it shows in her voice. But that uncertainty comes more from how the Castle that Never Was had never had anything like that, so she doesn't really have a frame of reference. His words up with some of the other responses though.]

Do you know where they might be?

Neither are you.

[He knows she can carry it well enough after having seen her tote it around at the feast. But what's a little harm in some teasing, right?]

[Caer Scima! It's a familiar name she seizes upon immediately. She makes a soft, affirmative noise.]

That's where I am. Do... do you know where they'd be? In the castle? I've never seen one before.

[Okay, now Xion's pursing her lips a little.]

I'm big enough.

[Thank you very much.]

Sure, sure. [All right, that's good enough.] Though, I don't think I've asked. Any reason why you picked up a key for a weapon?

I didn't really pick it- [But that's not necessarily true, is it? Who knows what happened back before she lost her heart? She might have had a really good reason, back when she was a person. Probably did, given how important the Keyblade was.]

I guess I don't really know.

There is one by the castle, yes. I remember it very clearly, it is one outside, but adjunct to it.

More like a sword in terms of size, then?

[What an odd response.]

What I'm hearing is someone gave it to you and you didn't know how to turn it down.

[Her voice lightens. It's nicer, to tell the truth, given some of the misunderstandings that have happened so far.]

[She cuts herself off again. Tries again, a bit more slowly.]

I don't really remember anything much from before a month ago.

Why wouldn't they? How different is it?
