[ She's their girl, his and Jack's, and even Toothless gives an uncertain warble when his rider sounds so dejected upon answering the locket. Merida has been there from the beginning for both of them, the sister of their little familial trio, with Hiccup always feeling responsible for her and Jack despite the Winter Spirit's true age. ]

Jack, she could suffer the same injuries you did, there needs to be someone right there with her. Is there?

[Not Merida. He feels easily the same way, because he's been there. He knows the panic that comes with being taken away and coming back when you least expected, how much of a toll that can have on the emotional state. She didn't deserve that. Not Merida.]

It's not so much as having an exact idea as it is just getting people the hell out of the way as much as I can. I know of a few places taking refugees, so I just figure I can take them there. Better than being in the main danger zones.
