[High in the sky, as usual, aboard the Black Pearl.]

Does it feel a little tense lately, or is it just me?

[She tries to avoid such feelings, but it's as though something is really looming now.]

If something happens and you get in a spot of trouble, send me a call and I can try and get you out. The Pearl is flying over the southern border right now, so if you're too far away, probably best to rely on yourself.

But know that I'm not going to risk this ship to save one person in a hornet's nest. It's too valuable for that.

Originally, this was a pirate ship. I was a member of the crew. After the captain disappeared from this world, it passed on to me. Since I can't very well pirate by myself, I've turned it into a transportation and merchant vessel.

I ferry people between the major cities and rings. None deep in Seelie territory, of course.

And I make supply trips for the Elven king.

[ The Elven king? She's seen him, having attended an event as Waver's not!date, but didn't speak with him directly. She'll have to send him a thank you card later... once people weren't focused on war and all. May be inappropriate right now. ]

Are you interested in working with others or do you prefer... to remain something of a pirate?

I mean if this world were to evolve to include other ships and trading ports, among other things, would you rather continue doing your own thing?

[ It's not something she wants to discuss out loud, but otherwise she could be excluding someone who already has experience. What a rough situation to be in.

I'm open to discussion, but right now, I'm not sure what you have to offer. What you say is "if". That's not much to go on.
