[ it's a singular word accompanied by the image of a very unamused and unimpressed older face with eyebrows that even if you couldn't see his mouth might actually show off his displeasure all by themselves. it's clear that he thinks this entire thing is stupid and arguably not real, but then again, robin hood shouldn't be real and he certainly did run into him. ]

There's a planet or two like this. Populated only with small, very— annoying bug creatures. I hate those planets. [ see also: i hate here. ] Try to avoid them unless someone wants to go see them.

[ that's not actually the commentary he means to make about here, but he can't entirely resist it. he clears throat. ] Of all the versions of me to drag here you choose me. Have to wonder if there's something a bit off in your heads. Then again, there's imps and fairies around and involved. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised if there's something off.

[ he sighs. ] If you can take a moment away from whatever it is you're doing right now. I know it's important to you— but this is a bit important to me and it'll take a minute. And it won't kill you to take that minute to listen since you already are. [ he also doesn't entirely care what everyone else is doing right now, but manners, achieving the goal of actually getting someone to pay attention. ] I'm missing a person. My ca— Clara. Her name's Clara, about— [ he motions somewhere south of his shoulder that is a horrible approximation of her actual height. ] that high, wide face. Bossy little thing. Tell her the Doctor's looking for her and that I need to see her even if she doesn't want to see me. I need to make sure she's in one piece if she's here.

Is that so? [ A slight headtilt. ] Why is that, did they describe her too differently?

[ For the best, really, because all this is already complicated enough as it is for her to grasp. One overwhelming mind-changing space theory at a time. ]

In a way. I described her a bit bossy, one of them said they wouldn't call her bossy.

When you don't go into the sky— very high into the sky that's typically what they get called. It's only when you're able to travel to and from the planets that you start calling them overall. I still technically call the ground— the ground when I'm on it.

Perhaps she is bossy only with you. It is not a word I would use to describe her either, to be true.

[ She smiles a little, keeping any hint of amusement carefully hidden behind it. She wouldn't want to be disrespectful to him, after all. ]

Yes, of course. But then-- do you mean to say that sometimes you are not on the ground? You travel to... ah, between planets? [ That would be more accurate. ]

Or you've all managed to be on your best behavior and have been exceptionally lucky in that regard. Since I know her a bit better than all of you, my description outweighs all of yours.

Yes! Hence the planets part of this. Travel between them, get to know them. Stay on the ground a bit longer than I'd like sometimes, but up into sp— [ No, wrong word in this case. ] the sky I go.

Perhaps so. [ Her lips twitch just a little into a wider smile. ] I've only spoken to her once, so maybe the time is yet to come when she will feel the need to be bossy towards me as well.

[ Though if anything, what he says only makes her think that he is a particular exception to the norm. ]

It sounds like quite an exciting life. [ Even if she has a difficult time wrapping her mind around the notion. ] Is that how you came here, or were you brought along like the rest of us?
